Scalable Video Switch Control Module Pre-Order Reservation - $45

Pre-Order Reservation: This is a Pre-Order Reservation for the Scalable Video Switch Control Module. This reservation acts as a deposit towards the purchase of this module. Once this module is manufactured and ready to ship you will be sent an invoice for the remaining balance of the order. This module is currently priced at $45 so the remaining balance for this module would be $35 (plus shipping), due once the modules are ready to ship (starting at the end of June 2025). Due to the changing tariff landscape in the United States it is possible that the final price may have to increase due to tariff costs, but I will do everything I can prevent this from happening. 

This reservation deposit is non refundable. By purchasing this reservation you understand and accept that you will pay the remaining balance at the time that the modules begin shipping starting and the end of June, and that if you do not pay the balance within one week of receiving your invoice that your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.

Description:

This is the core module of your SVS. This module contains the control logic to switch all of your input and output modules. It is a required part for every SVS build.

Features:

• Supports up to 32 inputs (Expandable to 248 with the upcoming Expansion Modules) and 6 outputs. 
• Infrared remote receiver for recording of IR codes and manual switching using the optional infrared remote accessory.
• 3.5mm Infrared Blaster port for playback of IR codes to help load profiles and settings on your scaler automatically on a per input basis.
• SD card support for storing and editing IR codes and other configuration settings.
• USB C port for power, firmware updates and serial communication over USB to your PC.

Power Requirements:

The SVS Control Module is powered by USB C. The recommended power supply requirement is that it deliver +5v 1.5A minimum. More powerful supplies will also work but this represents the minimum specification. 

The SVS Control Module does not support the USB Power Delivery standard, so if you use a Power Delivery capable USB power supply you may encounter unexpected behavior. Most USB Power Delivery adapters will work properly, but some will throttle the power back to the minimum 750ma USB 1.0 standard, which would not be enough power for the SVS. For best results use a non Power Delivery equipped power supply.
